I first wrote about A K Pavers in 2015. Since that time they have returned to do additional work. Why? Because there is no better contractor and company that exceeds the quality of their work. A K Pavers is synonymous with quality, perfection and their attention to the smallest details is impeccable. The contractors arrive early and diligently fulfil the specifications of the job. The superiority of workmanship is only surpassed by the integrity and honor of the owner, Alex. He is in high demand because of his integrity and quality of work, as such I schedule a job, he gives me an estimate of a start date and I patiently wait for his availability, which is always on target with his estimate, because I know there is no better contracting company than A K Pavers. There is no job too big or too small and Alex is forthright in regards to the parameters of his expertise.

He created a beautiful design around the trees we love to make our backyard look like a wonderland !!!! The front steps to the house were redone as well and his suggestions were beautiful. Our house & yard look completely amazing thanks to his work. He has definitely increased the property value of house we love. He & his entire crew were professional throughout the entire job. It was the most pleasurable experience we have had with any contractor and at this point we have redone our entire house. Front walkway
Experience: Very very pleased with how our walkway turned out. The crew removed the old builder's concrete walkway and replaced it with a serpentine path of pavers. The path has gone through several winters and still looks like it did when installed.

Experience: We had AK paving do some work for us about 2 years ago. Alex's work was great! He installed pavers in front of our home, replaced an old sidewalk that had cracked from years of root growth, as well as install a patio in our back yard. He gave our property a major face lift and made it's exterior space much more usable! We still get neighbors complementing us on how much better the properly looks! AK Paving did an excellent job on our backyard! They performed excavation, grading, drainage, concrete work, herringbone brick patio, and a sand box.
I'm in the construction industry for over 20 years and the quality is excellent! Their pricing was also very competitive. We ran into a couple of unforeseen conditions that added a couple of extra days to the project, and Alex took care of them without asking for any additional money. Our budget was very tight, but we were so happy with the outcome of the project that we gave Alex some additional money for the extra days added. JOB WELL DONE!

I first became aware of the fine work Alex and his men did when my sister hired them. She was so pleased with the the great price and even more impressed with their fine work. I called Alex and he came over the next day. I explained to him what I wanted to have done. Alex was very attentive to my needs and even gave me some recommendations that saved me money. He then gave me a very fair quote. He and his men worked in a very professional and speedy manor. They first put down Belgian block on both sides of my driveway (they used a saw to make the edges really straight), broke out my old concrete patio and installed paving stone,They took out the old cobble stone in the backyard and replace it with wall that matched my paves. He repaired my sunken walk and filled the empty spaces around the paves with sand. All through this time Ales would explain to me exactly what was being done and why. I even changed some things I wanted to have done in the middle of the job with no difficulties from Alex. He was very flexible. The job came out better than I could have ever imagined. Every one I show is very impressed.
I highly recommend AK PAVING. This has been the best experience I ever had with a contractor. I highly recommend AK PAVING. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!

Repair front brick and concrete steps
Experience: We were so pleased with the work that AK Paving did for us years ago, we didn't hesitate to hire them again when our next need arose. The first project involved creating a patio and side walkway. Both turned out beautifully, and the staff was a pleasure to work with. The more recent project involved repairing damaged steps. Rather than gouge us for an entirely new set of stairs, Alex found a way to repair the damage and replace only what was necessary. The work was again performed expertly and courteously. Even after he received full payment, Alex didn't hesitate to return to the site to respond to a couple minor adjustments we requested, and further work was done without argument or hassle. Alex's response: "You have to be totally happy." Amen to that! And we are.

Repair driveway and walkway
This summer, Alex and his crew did an excellent job repaving our driveway, installing stone at the base where the driveway meets the street, and in completely redoing the walkway to our house with new stone. His crew recently returned to seal both the driveway and the walkway. The initial start time was delayed a bit because of other work that Alex had and weather conditions, but once the work was started in it was done meticulously, in the time estimated, and on budget.

I observed the quality of AK Pavers work for years and when I was ready to do work in my home I did not hesitate to contact them. Alex, the owner is an honorable, respectful, and humble man. At the same time his vast experience and wisdom guided me through two major projects. He recreated an oasis in my backyard with pavers and a stone planting area.
When I returned home and saw his creation, complete with organic dirt for planting, I was not only satisfied but delighted. The following season I had him return and complete the entire front of the house with concrete. Once again the quality of his work exceeded my expectations. I had a fantastic experience working with Alex and the AKPAVING crew. First I hired them to build a paved staircase and 22x16 patio on a terraced plot of land in my hilly backyard. They worked wonders, leveling the land and installing the whole thing in three days. Alex always showed up on time, always answered calls and questions, fixed the couple of minor issues I had without trying to talk me out of it, and made me feel completely safe. So many contractors I worked with argue every point before you have to finally beat them into concession. Alex's crew was so professional that I hardly had any issues, and the ones I had were immediately remedied.
I then hired Alex to resurface a retaining wall. Again, exactly same level of professionalism, timeliness, and responsiveness. Absolutely no complaints.
I recommend this company without reservation!

Comments: After meeting with several contractors I decided to hire AK Paving based on presentation, knowledge / grasp of job needed to be done and list of past clients with positive / satisfactory results. Alex and his crew were reliable in every way, very professional, helpful and friendly. They started the day early, at the end of each work day left the work area neat, went out of their way to ensure the job was done "the correct way." The scope of work AK Paving did entailed waterproofing foundation, breaking concrete and brick walkway front and back of the house, then rebuilding brand new -- paved, etc. When done, the entire job came out so beautiful and the area was left completely cleaned. We have received many compliments from our neighbors. Without hesitation I would recommend Alex / AK Paving and am confident others will be as happy as I am.

Returned all phone calls and emails promptly; showed up when he said he would; completed job 1 day before schedule and was a true gentlemen. One more thing: even repaired some Belgium blocks on my driveway which were not part of the job and did not charge me. Highly recommend them.

Alex did a great job on expanding our patio-it is hard to tell what is new and what is the old part. They worked quickly, did extra pointing to make it look better and cleaned up well afterward. I would definitely use them again.

I couldn't have imagined how beautiful the work created by Alex and his team would be! Alex guided me on design which proved to be perfect.
He is knowledgeable about color and texture and we selected the best possible stones for the look of my home. On top of their expertise, they are skilled craftsmen and executed the design flawlessly. Working all day, each day until the job was finished; no skipping a day to do other jobs. I was delighted each day i returned home to see the progress and dedication.
